How to solve rollback install problem [Symantec Endpoint]
Symantec antivirus is not running, please re-install it for user.
Already delete old version and install new version for user.
I have found the problem when tried to re-install this software.
It is not allow to install properly. I need to change some settings in registry as follow:
Find
HKEY_USERS.DEFAULTSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerUser Shell FoldersAppData
value=%APPDATA%
and change it to
HKEY_USERS.DEFAULTSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerUser Shell FoldersAppData
value=%USERPROFILE%AppDataRoaming
Install SEP client again.
And found that, still cannot install. So Live update is needed,
support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v57903068_EndUserProfile_en_us
Version 3.3 is compatible with this case and Windows 7.
