Enable .net Framework 3.5 on Windows 8

How to install .net framework 3.5 on Windows 8?

     User unable to install some software or drivers because it requires .net framework 3.5 but there is no .net framework 3.5 available on Windows 8.

Resolution :-

Since .net framework 3.5 was superseded by .net framework 4.0 on Windows 8. By default, .net Framework 4.0 was enabled instead of .net framework 3.5.

To enable .net framework 3.5 on Windows 8.

1. Mount Windows 8 installation image or insert Windows 8 installation disc in to dvd-drive.

2. Run cmd.exe as admin permission.

3. Enter following command.

DISM /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /Source:f:\sources\sxs

where f is letter drive of computer dvd drive.

4. It will take some times for loading, when it reaches 100% the .net framework     3.5 will be enabled successfully.
