How to configure Windows Time in a proper way
In most OS today we no longer need to set the date, time manually. And also by doing so will introduce a risk that may causes some applications not working correctly from the differentiation between servers and clients timestamp. In this how to will show how to configure the Windows Time in a proper way by using NTP protocol.
In RMA, we already have a central NTP servers which are our domain controllers (dcserver2.hq.rmasia.net and dcserver3.hq.rmasia.net for Bangkok). You can use nearest domain controllers to synchronize clients time as well.
To set the time properly, just run below commands as local admin.
w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update
net stop w32time
net start w32time
w32tm /stripchart /computer:dcserver2.hq.rmasia.net
